4. Notice to the other respondents is not necessary for the following reasons:

The petitioner is aggrieved of the fact that his grandfather's name has been removed from the RTC while showing the name of ‘Janatha Niveshana Hanchike’ which means the lands have been distributed under the Janatha Niveshana Scheme. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out to column No.11 or the RTC where it is stated that by virtue of acquisition notification bearing No.RHS 18/73-74 and DPC No.96 HLA 74 dated 19.02.1979 the lands have been acquired. However, when information was sought from the Executive Officer of the Taluka Panchayat, Devanahalli, the Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru Rural District and the Special Land Acquisition Officer, the Executive Officer of the Taluka Panchayat and

the Public Information Officer of the Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru Rural District, have furnished information as found at Annexure-A and Annexure-A1 that no information regarding the acquisition notification is available in their office. However, it is also pointed out to Annexure-E, a communication dated 14.03.2017 made by the Assistant Commissioner, Bengaluru North Sub- Division to the Tahsildar, Bengaluru (Additional) Taluk, Yelahanka directing the Tahsildar to enter the information regarding the acquisition proceedings and the fact that the lands have been utilised for formation of a layout for distribution of sites. However, to a pointed question to the
learned counsel for petitioner as to why the petitioner did not raise a challenge to the illegal mutation entries, the
learned counsel seeks leave of this Court to approach the Competent Authority in accordance with law.
3. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the

Competent Authority to remove the illegal entry made in the revenue records. Ordered accordingly.
