This interlocutory application is filed for correction/ amendment of the cause title of the connected Crl.Rev.P./84/2026, by inserting Section 438 and 442 read with Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, in place of Section 397/401 read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., 1973. It is submitted by Mr. Roy, the learned counsel that the present applicant/petitioner that inadvertently the connected Revision Petition was filed under Section 397/401 read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., 1973, in place of appropriate Sections under the BNSS, 2023. Mr. Sarma, the learned Addl. P.P., Assam has raised no objection in that regard. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for both sides, the present interlocutory application for correction/ amendment of the cause title of connected Crl.Rev.P./84/2026 is hereby allowed. Accordingly, the cause title of the Crl.Rev.P./84/2026 be amended/corrected by inserting the appropriate provisions of law under the BNSS, 2023. List the matter immediately after the correction/ amendment of cause title of the Crl.Rev.P./84/2026, on a date to be fixed by the Registry.
