By way of the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the Respondent to comply with the order dated 15.02.2024 passed by the Appellate Authority. 2. The Petitioner arrived in India from Uzbekistan, whereupon his gold chain weighing 117 grams was detained on the ground that he had crossed the Green Channel without making the requisite declaration. 3. The Competent Authority, vide order dated 10.08.2023, permitted the Petitioner to re-export the gold chain upon payment of a redemption fine of Rs.63,000/-. 4. The appeal preferred by the Department against the order dated 10.08.2023 was dismissed by the Appellate Authority vide order dated 15.02.2024. This is a digitally signed order.
