Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the Counsel for the Petitioner:

The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief :-
“…to issue a Writ Order or direction particularly, one in the nature of writ of Mandamus aggrieved by the action of the Respondents in repeatedly calling the Petitioner to the Police Station orally and threatening coercive action in connection with FIR No.255/2025 dated 14.12.2025, without issuing any written notice or following the procedure prescribed under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is as arbitrary, illegal and violative of the Petitioner's fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the authorities not to call the petitioner to the police station except procedure contemplates in law.”
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Sri Jada Sravan Kumar, learned Counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the police have been repeatedly summoning the Petitioner to the police station orally and threatening coercive action in connection with FIR No.255/2025, without issuing any written notice or following the procedure prescribed under law. 4.
Sri P. Ajay Babu, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submits that the case is based on a complaint lodged by V. Satyanarayana and is under lawful investigation. He further submits that

witnesses have been examined, their statements recorded, and notices issued in accordance with the procedure prescribed under law. He further submits that the police have neither threatened nor harassed the Petitioner and that all the allegations made in the writ petition are false and fabricated. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent police not to threaten or initiate any coercive action against the Petitioner without issuing due notice and following the procedure prescribed under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. If any notice is issued by the police, the Petitioner shall cooperate with them in the conduct of further investigation. 6. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
