Heard. 2. This petition is based on only ground of gender bias i.e. the petitioner who wants to participate in boxing competitions at every level i.e. Taluka, District, Regional, State and National, was deprived of her right to participate in such boxing competition as there is no girls’ category below 14 years in the schedule published by the respondent nos. 2 and 3. 3. In response to this petition, the respondent no. 3 has agreed to include Under-14 Girls’ category in boxing for the next year, as the schedule for the current year has already been published and certain levels of competition i.e. the Taluka-level and District-level competitions have already been over. 2026:BHC-NAG:13100-DB

4. Though, as per the schedule, it appears that even the State and Regional-level competitions are over, the learned counsel for the petitioner is disputing the said fact. 5. Be that as it may, since it is the request of the petitioner to allow her to participate this year in the remaining competitions in the Under-14 Girls’ category in boxing, we are of the opinion that it would be appropriate to direct the respondent no. 3 to consider the request of the petitioner by treating the present petition as her representation, after granting an opportunity of hearing to her natural guardian and father, Shri Rakesh Ishwarlal Tiwari. 6. Accordingly, we direct the respondent no. 3 to treat the present petition as a representation of the petitioner and decide the same within two weeks from the date of appearance of father of the petitioner i.e. on 07/10/2026 at 11.00 a.m. before the President. 7.
If the facility to appear through virtual mode/video conferencing is available, the father of the petitioner is permitted to avail the same and the respondent no. 3 shall permit him to appear through virtual mode. 8. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week from the date of such decision. 9. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. (RAJNISH R. VYAS, J.) (ANIL S. KILOR, J.) B.T.K.
