1. The petitioners are aggrieved by the disconnection of supply of the water to the KK holding No. 5-L-25, Premises No. 15 C, Bose Pukur Road, Police Station Kasba, Ward No. 67 Kolkata 700042. The petitioners claim to have made representation before the municipality. The petitioners claim to be occupiers of the aforesaid premises.
2. Having regard to the above, and having heard the learned advocates for the parties at this stage, I am of the view, it shall only be appropriate for this Court to direct the municipality to consider the petitioners’ representation and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order. It is expected that the entire process shall be completed within a

period of 6 weeks from the date of communication of this order.
3. It is made clear that this Court has not considered the entitlement of the petitioners on merit and it shall be open to the municipality to take a decision on merits.
4. The petitioners shall be at liberty to produce all documents before the municipal authorities in support of their contentions.
5. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
