1. Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 0073/2025 dated 25.01.2025, registered at Police Station Sunlight Colony, for commission of offences under Section 3 of Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Public Property Act,
2007.
2. Quashing is, primarily, being sought for the reason that the main allegation with respect to putting a banner would not constitute an offence as has been observed in T.S. Marwah vs. State in CRL.M.C. 1920/2008 (DoD: 17.09.2008).
3. After hearing arguments for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, does not press the present petition at this stage and submits that he would raise all such
contentions before the learned Trial Court at appropriate stage. He, however, This is a digitally signed order.
