The petitioner is an accused in connection with Chandrapura P.S. Case No.33 of 2026. The petitioner had made an attempt to slit the neck of the informant while she was sleeping. The injury report reveals that one incised wound was found below the chin. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 04.04.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the nature of allegations and the injury report, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
