JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:22583 WP No. 9473 of 2023 ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer. “Wherefore, it is prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to: (a) For a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction directing the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect the property of the petitioners in pursuance of complaint dated 10.03.2023 and endorsement dated 15/03/2023 as per annexure-A and B (b) Cost of the petition.” 2. A writ petition seeking a prayer of this nature cannot be entertained, the Court cannot direct the respondents to protect the property of the petitioners in pursuance of complaint dated 10.03.2023. The petitioners’ remedy is elsewhere. When the matter came up on 23.04.2026, as there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption for ‘dismissal’. In spite of the fact that the matter is listed for dismissal, today also there is no representation. It appears that the petitioners are not interested to pursue the matter.
