2/09.01.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of Petitioners and
learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Lalpur P.S. Case No.205/2025, registered u/s 316(4)/318(4) of B.N.S., pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners happened to be employees of a wine shop and the allegations are made that the petitioners have demanded rupees 10 to 50 more than the MRP of the liquor bottles. She next submits that the petitioners intend to return the same amount, however due to scarcity of change, the same was not returned. She also submits that the petitioners have cooperated in the investigation.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that even the notice under Section 35(3) of BNSS has not

been complied by the petitioners.
5. Considering that allegations are made against the petitioners of demanding Rupees 10 to 50 more than the MRP of the liquor bottles and the petitioners have received the notice under Section 35(3) of BNSS.
6. In view of the above, the petitioners, above named, are directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks and the learned Court shall release the petitioners on such terms and conditions or sureties, the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
7. This Anticipatory Bail Application is accordingly disposed of.
