Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State, Mr. Anand Tiwari holding brief of Sri Yash Padia, learned counsel for respondent nos. 2, 3 & 4, and perused the record. The petitioner has preferred the instant writ petition for a direction upon the respondent no. 2 - Vice Chancellor, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, for grant of interest on delayed payment of arrears from 19.04.2018 to 23.06.2022 Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has made several representations before the respondent authorities but to no avail. Learned counsel for the respondents does not dispute the aforesaid fact. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused of the record, however, without entering into merits of the case, the writ petition is being disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs.
