On behalf of the CESC Limited, it is submitted that there are private disputes between the petitioner and the private respondent no. 5 and the CESC Limited has no role to play insofar as disconnection of the electricity supply connection to the premises of the petitioner is concerned. In fact, it appears from the Report dated 13.03.2026 filed by the CESC Limited that it was the private respondent no. 5 who has switched off this main switch. In view of the nature of disputes by and between the parties there is no wrongdoing which 2 can be attributed to CESC Limited, WPA 2576 of 2026 stands dismissed. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail of its remedies in accordance with law. Liberty is also granted to the petitioner and the private respondent no. 5 to take appropriate steps for filing of an application before the CESC Limited for shifting of the subject meter. In case such application is filed the CESC Limited is directed to act as expeditiously in accordance with law. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.)
