I have also heard Mr. SS Roy, the learned CGC, who appears on behalf of the respondents. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the rejection of the petitioner’s candidature by the Review Medical Examination Board on the ground that the petitioner’s last accepted level of blood pressure is 140/90. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had thereupon consulted both the Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Civil Hospital at Tinsukia as well as the Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh, wherein the blood pressure so recorded is much less and as such has sought for an intervention to the order of the Review Medical Board whereby the candidature of the petitioner had been rejected. 3. This Court had duly heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and had perused the materials on record. 4. From a perusal of the materials on record, it is seen that initially in respect of the petitioner, there was a detailed medical examination carried out wherein it was declared that the petitioner was unfit on the ground of high blood pressure. In the said detailed medical examination record, it was found that the petitioner's blood pressure was 162/98;153/91;177/100 & 155/97 respectively. Thereupon at the request of the petitioner seeking a Review Medical Examination, another examination was taken on 22.11.2025 wherein the blood pressure which was recorded was 150/88; 160/85; 150/90 and 182/104. It was also found that the petitioner’s last accepted level of BP was 140/90. The Page No.# 4/4 petitioner thereupon carried out further medical assessment of himself before the Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Civil Hospital at Tinsukia, wherein it was found that the petitioner’s blood pressure was 130/80. He had also undergone the same examination at that Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh wherein the petitioner’s BP was found at 138/80. 5. Though this Court does not have the expertise, but the materials on record so produced does not satisfy this Court to arrive at a finding that there is any infirmity in the opinion rendered by the Review Medical Board in rejection of the candidature of the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
