Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be permitted to withdraw this contempt petition at this stage as the decision rendered in Manmohan Versus State of Himachal Pradesh2, which was the basis of the representation preferred by the petitioner, has been stayed in LPA No.316 of 2026. Learned counsel further submits that liberty be reserved to be petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his grievances in

accordance with law at an appropriate stage, in case necessity so arises in future.
