When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation in Crime No.347 of 2025 has been completed and the same has been closed as ‘mistake of fact’. He further submitted that the RCS notice has been served on 10.10.2025 and that a copy of the same has been handed over today to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks three weeks’ time to file a protest petition before the Additional Mahila Court, Salem. 4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
