The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Pithoria P.S. Case No.126 of 2025, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 317(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 11(1)(a)(d)(e)(f) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 and Section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that FIR has been lodged against two vehicles alleging of carrying bovine animals. He further submits that the petitioner happened to be owner of one of the vehicle and the owner of another vehicle has been granted anticipatory bail by learned Sessions Judge in ABP 2026:JHHC:13760 --2-- A.B.A. No. 2190 of 2026 No.3054 of 2025. He then submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.11 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that illegally bovine animals were being carried in the said vehicle. 5. Considering that the petitioner happened to be owner of one of the vehicle and owner of another vehicle has been granted anticipatory bail by learned Sessions Judge in the aforesaid ABP and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.11 of the petition, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Ranchi in connection with Pithoria P.S. Case No.126 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) Dated 07.05.2026 Sangam/
