This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 for Page No.# 2/2 granting of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in connection with Bilasipara P.S. Case No. 24/2026 registered under Section 305/291 of the BNS, read with Section 11(1)(d) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 & Section 13(1) Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. 3. The petitioner is the registered owner of the vehicle involved in the incident, wherein a certain number of cattle were intercepted from the said vehicle. This Court, by order dated 23.03.2026, granted interim pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, pursuant to which he has appeared before the Investigating Officer (IO), and his statement has been submitted by the learned counsel. 4. Subsequently, a charge sheet has also been filed as informed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 5. Having regard to the nature of the allegations and the fact of the investigation, being over, the order of interim pre-arrest bail is hereby made absolute. 6.
