The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Ramanagara, to consider the representation dated 03.06.2025 at Annexure-J given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Committee for regularization of unauthorised occupation had passed an order on 11.12.2006 granting 2 acres 10 guntas of land in Survey No.195 of Kachugaranahalli, Bidadi Hobli, Ramanagar Taluk, to the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11918 WP No. 20529 of 2025 petitioner's grand father. Thereafter, Official Memorandum was issued for regularisation of unauthoried occupation on 13.02.2007 However, no saguvali chit was issued to the petitioner's grand father and the name of the petitioner's grand father has not been entered in the land records. It is also contended by the petitioner that the lands have been notified and acquired at the hands of the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board. However, since the name of the petitioner is not found in the revenue records, the compensation is not paid to the petitioner. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Ramanagar Taluk, to verify the records and find out if an order of regularisation was passed by the Committee on 11.12.2006 and official memorandum was issued on 13.02.2007. If it is found that grant was made in favour of the petitioner's grand father the respondent-Tahsildar shall collect kimmath and issue saguvali chit in favour of the petitioner's grand father. Thereafter, the Tahsildar shall - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11918 WP No. 20529 of 2025 proceed to enter the name of the petitioner's grand father Sri.Channappa in the revenue records, after collecting the necessary fee. The Tahsildar shall then verify who are the legal heirs of Sri.Channappa and after satisfying himself enter their names in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This direction is issued only to enable the entry of the name of the petitioner in the revenue records or to issue an endorsement to the Special Land Acquisition Officer of the KIADB for payment of compensation.
