By way of present application, applicants have sought indulgence of this Court to release the amount of compensation, deposited by the Insurance Company, in the present case. The applicants have filed the present appeal, before this Court, against award dated 4.9.2019, passed by the Court of learned MACT-I, Solan, H.P. by virtue of which, a sum of Rs. 23,83,000/- alongwith interest @ 6% per month, has been awarded in favour of the claimants, from the date of filing of petition, till realization of the amount. Ultimate liability to pay the amount has been fastened upon the Insurance Company. The present appeal filed by the applicants, was decided by this Court, vide judgment dated 3.12.2025, by enhancing the amount of compensation. The amount of compensation is stated to have been deposited by the Insurance Company, in the Registry of this Court. In view of no objection made by learned counsel for the Insurance Company (respondent No. 3), the amount, so deposited, is ordered to be released in favour of the applicants, as apportioned by the learned MACT-I, Solan, H.P. The amount, so released, shall be remitted to the saving bank accounts of the applicants, as per particulars mentioned in para-4 of the application. The application is, thus, disposed of.
