This is an ofÏce reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 25.01.2024 passed in MCRC No. 8418 of 2023, while allowing the bail of the applicants, namely, Aagay Mandal and Ranjeet Rohito, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 25.01.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge, (NDPS Act), Bilaspur, District-Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 19.02.2026 has requested for grant of four months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that at present, in the present case, the prosecution evidence could not be completed due to the continuous absence of the accused persons, namely Agay Mandal and Ranjeet Rohito. So far, the evidence of one prosecution witness has been recorded and as per the list of witnesses, the evidence of 11 prosecution witnesses are still required to be recorded. Therefore, it is most respectfully prayed that an additional period of four months may kindly be granted for the disposal of the case. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
