This is an application praying for impleadment of Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Range HQR, Central Reserve Police force, Chandauli as party respondent in the connected Cont.Cas(C)/321/2025. Page No.# 3/3 Mr. Gogoi, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the earlier incumbent, who had been arrayed as the respondent no. 4, has been transferred and in his place, new incumbent, namely, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Range HQR, Central Reserve Police force, Chandauli has been posted. Therefore, he submits that new incumbent being the necessary party, the applicant may be allowed to implead the new incumbent as party respondent no. 7 in the contempt case. Having considered that the present sought to be impleaded, namely, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Range HQR, Central Reserve Police force, Chandauli is a necessary party of being posted in the said capacity, this Court deemed it appropriate to allow this application. Accordingly, the new incumbent, namely, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Range HQR, Central Reserve Police force, Chandauli is allowed to implead as the respondent no. 7 in the said contempt case.
