The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.1/MCD to stop and demolish illegal construction and amalgamation at property bearing No.866 and 871, Kedar Building, Ghanta Ghar, Delhi (hereinafter the ‘subject property’). 2. It is stated that the petitioner resides opposite to the said property. 3. Mr. Kapil Dutta, counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD submits that the property has been booked for unauthorized construction and a show-cause notice has been issued on 24th June, 2026.
