JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER The facts behind the filing of the present petition are as follows: The Assistant Commissioner allowed the application filed by respondent No.5 herein under Section 5 of the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12664 WP No. 19267 of 2025 Karnataka Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prohibition of Transfer of Certain Lands Act), 1978, by order dated 11.07.2005. The petitioner herein filed an appeal before the Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru District, in Appeal No.13/2011-12. The appeal was allowed while setting aside the order passed by the Assistant Commissioner. The respondent No.4 challenged the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner before this court in W.P. No.42727/2013 and the said writ petition was dismissed. However, in the intra-court writ appeal in W.A.No.4531/2015 the Division Bench allowed the appeal while remanding the matter back to the Deputy Commissioner for reconsideration. In this writ petition, the purchaser respondent No.4 before the Deputy Commissioner is seeking to quash an order passed by the Deputy Commissioner rejecting the application filed by the petitioner herein for adjournment. 2. On the previous occasion, this Court had noticed in the order dated 14.01.2026 that if no orders are obtained - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12664 WP No. 19267 of 2025 by the petitioner before the next date of hearing at the hands of the Division Bench in the review petition filed by the petitioner, this Court will be constrained to either vacate the interim order or dispose of the writ petition. 3. Today learned counsel for the petitioner once again submits that the Division Bench has directed notice to the respondents. 4. In the considered opinion of this Court, the relief sought for by the petitioner before this Court would touch upon the proceedings before the Division Bench. Appropriate orders if any, may be secured by the petitioner before the Hon'ble Division Bench. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. Pending I.As. if any stand disposed of.
