This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- “(a) issue a Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India thereby directing the Respondent No.2 to change / update / correct in its record, the name of Petitioner Institution’s Affiliating University from “Vikrama Simhapuri University” to “Andhra University” for all future correspondences and consequential purposes; and / or This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 28/07/2026 at 11:40:50 (b) issue a Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India thereby directing the Respondent No.2 to reflect the changed / updated / corrected name of the Petitioner Institution’s Affiliating University; in the list of recognized institutions as available on the website of Respondent No.2; and / or…” 2.
