(Oral) By way of the present petition, a prayer has been made to direct the Court of learned Civil Judge, Shillai, District Sirmaur, H.P. to decide Civil Suit No.30 of 2021, titled as Jagat Singh versus Kalyan Singh, expeditiously.
2. The said prayer has been made on the ground that despite number of opportunities availed by the plaintiff to conclude his evidence, the evidence has not been concluded. In this regard, petitioner has placed on record copies of zimni orders. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
( 2026:HHC:25379 )
3. Perusal of the zimni orders demonstrates that more than sufficient opportunities have already been granted to the plaintiff.
4. However, keeping in view the order dated 08.05.2026, this Court is of the view that the directions can be issued to the learned trial Court, to decide the matter expeditiously, as under instructions, it has been submitted by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the defendant, who is petitioner before this Court, will take only three opportunities to examine his DWs.
5. In such situation, learned trial Court is requested to decide the matter expeditiously, as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today.
6. In view of the above, the present petition is
disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
