Also heard Mr. R Barpujari, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department as well as the District Administration. 2. The present writ petition has been filed challenging the various Notices Page No.# 10/10 issued dated 25.05.2026 enclosed as Annexure-6 to the writ petition. The said Notices have not been stayed by this Court. Rather, the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court granted the leave to the Petitioners to submit the necessary documents and cooperate with the Respondent authorities. It is, however, relevant to mention that till the returnable date, there was a direction that the petitioners shall not be evicted from the dwelling houses on the basis of the said notices. 3. In the meantime, during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioners have duly submitted the documents and claims before the Circle Officer, Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle. In pursuance thereto, Speaking Orders have been passed against the petitioners and the Speaking Orders are the subject matter of challenge in another writ petition being WP(C)No.4114/2026. 4. It is also relevant to take note of that the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court while issuing notice in WP(C)No.4114/2026 directed maintenance of the status-quo in respect to the areas of lands concerning the 77 writ petitioners therein. 5. Taking into account the above, as the said Notices have been already acted upon and thereupon the Speaking Orders have been passed which is the subject matter in another writ petition, nothing further survives in the present proceedings. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed, without prejudice to the rights of the petitioners in WP(C) No.4114/2026. 6. Interim order(s) passed earlier stands vacated. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
