IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA CWP No. 10385 of 2026 Decided on: 29.06.2026 Kumari Rajwati … Petitioner Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others … Respondents Coram Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge. Whether approved for reporting? ____________________________________________________ _ For the petitioner: Mr. A.K. Gupta, Advocate. For the respondents: Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, Additional Advocate General, for respondents No.1 and 2. Mr. H.S. Rangra, Advocate, for respondent No.3. Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Notice. Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of respondents. 2. A perusal of the petition demonstrates that the petition is conspicuously silent as to who all were the legal heirs of Shri Mohinder Singh when he died. The petitioner has approached this Court after a decade from the date of death of her father, praying for family pension without mentioning anything in the writ petition as to who all were there in the family of Shri Mohinder Singh when he died and whether any of them had earlier applied for a family for family pension etc. 3. At this stage, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be allowed to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the Court afresh by giving better particulars in the petition. 2 4. The petition stands disposed of with liberty, as prayed for. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. (Ajay Mohan Goel) Judge June 29, 2026 (Rishi)
