This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the Deputy Director of Consolidation, District Sant Kabir Nagar to consider and decide their grievance regarding mass irregularities during first consolidation proceedings in public interest. 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that the petitioners have started filing representations since 03.08.2026 and three omnibus representations have been made, a look thereof reveals that instead of raising any grievance qua the proceedings, several suggestions have been given and action has been sought 'यिद (in case)' anything is found against the persons involved. Further, the representation itself states that there is apprehension of wrongdoing. 3. Filing of representations, which are in the nature of fishing inquiry, followed by filing of Public Interest Litigation, cannot be countenanced. The petition is, therefore, dismissed.
