Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that with regard to the grievance projected in this petition, the petitioner has already moved a representation before the State Taxes Department/ State Taxes Officer, Circle-R, Srinagar, for refund of an amount of Rs.4,64,042/- along with statutory interest. 02. He submits that despite the fact that the aforesaid representation was made on 25.04.2026, however, the respondents have not decided the same even after the lapse of more than one month. 03. Having heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the nature of relief prayed for, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the State Taxes Officer, Circle-R, Srinagar, to consider and take a final decision on the representation stated to have been filed by the petitioner on 25.04.2026 for release of some amount, within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order along Sr. No.02 2 with copy of the paper-book is served upon respondent No. 2-State Taxes Officer, Circle-R, Srinagar. 04.
