Mr. Indranil Halder Ms. Neha Singh ….for the Petitioner Mr. Ramchandra Guchhait ….for the CESC Limited The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the refusal of the CESC Limited to provide an electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner. A Report filed on behalf of the CESC Limited be kept with the records. A copy of the same is handed over to the petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of the CESC Limited, that since the petitioner is a tenant and he is in possession of the subject premises, he is entitled to get electricity in his favour. In view of the above, WPA 3036 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the CESC Limited to provide an electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner after complying with all statutory formalities and upon payment of necessary fees. 2 It is expected that the above connection would be provided within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order after compliance with all formalities. The above electricity connection is to be provided in the existing meter room at the premises. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.)
