This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, whereby the petitioner Shahin Sikdar has prayed for releasing him on bail after as he is facing trial in Special (Nar) Case No.13(BGN) of 2026 pending in the court of the learned Special Judge, Bongaigaon. 3. Out of the 8(eight) prosecution witnesses, 7(seven) of them have already been examined by the trial court. Mr. Sarma has submitted that today is the date fixed for examination of the eighth prosecution witnesses. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides. 5. The case is at the final stage of disposal. This Court is of the opinion that allowing the bail prayer of the petitioner would hamper early disposal of the case before the trial court.
