Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to serve copies of the petition along with annexures on the learned Additional Government Advocate. Since it is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner's application for mutation in the revenue records pursuant to the registered release deed dated 15.09.2017 has not been considered by - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:16611 WP No. 6143 of 2026 the respondent-Tahsildar, learned Additional Government Advocate is directed to secure instructions and make submissions. Re-list this matter on 23.03.2026 for preliminary hearing.’ 2. Today, the learned Additional Government Advocate submits on instructions that J-slip was generated and forwarded to the office of the Tahsildar only in respect of the Power of Attorney which was registered along with the release deed dated 15.09.2017. However, it is also submitted that J-slip regarding the release deed dated 15.09.2017 is also forwarded from the office of the jurisdictional Sub-Registrar to the office of the Tahsildar last week. 3. If that is the admitted position, the respondent- Special Tahsildar, Yelahanka Taluk, is required to proceed to pass mutation orders and enter the name of the petitioner in accordance with the release deed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:16611 WP No. 6143 of 2026 4.
