Pursuant to the order dated 10.08.2026, a report was called from the Dhula police station and accordingly, the learned Additional PP has Page No.# 2/2 submitted that the report dated 18.08.2026 received from the OC of Dhula PS in the district of Darrang, stating that as per the police station records, no case is registered against the petitioner, Ranjan Keleng, till date in the said police station. 3. In view of the said report, the present petition would not be maintainable and is accordingly disposed of. 4. Needless to say that, if the petitioner has any bonafide apprehension of arrest in the future due to any relevant facts and circumstances, he would be at liberty to take recourse to the remedies provided by law. 5.
