The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record. 2. The petitioner’s husband was a former Clerk at Atattar High School, Purba Medinipur. He had exercised his option under ROPA 1990 and 1998 for EPF-cum-gratuity. The husband of the petitioner retired from service on July 30, 2006 and expired on December 17, 2009. 3. The petitioner, the widow of the former Clerk, had filed a writ petition, which was disposed of by an order of this Hon’ble Court on March 13, 2024. Pursuant to the said order, steps have been taken and I am informed that the petitioner has already refunded the amount as calculated by the Headmaster and deposited the same. 4. The concerned respondent submits that the file is 2 pending approval from the Joint Director of Accounts (SE), Purba Medinipur, an office attached to the respondent no. 4. 5. The respondent no. 4 and/or its concerned Officer is directed to dispose of the matter by May 15, 2026 and issue appropriate Pension Payment Order (PPO) in favour of the petitioner by May 31, 2026. 6. With the afore-stated direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 8.
