Apprehending arrest in connection with Kalgachia PS Case No. 54/2026, under Section 318(4)/316(2) of the BNS, read with Section 14 of the Game and Betting Act, this application under Section 482 of the BNSS, is preferred by applicant, namely Hamida, for grant of pre-arrest bail. 3. The petitioner was granted interim bail with conditions on 07.08.2026. 4. The case diary has been received. 5. The learned Additional PP submits that pursuant to the grant of interim bail, the petitioner has appeared before the IO and her statement has been recorded. It is submitted by the prosecution that the thrust of the allegation against the present petitioner is that her account was used to transfer money pertaining to IPL betting by the main accused. 6. In the context of the fact that the petitioner has rendered her cooperation with the investigation, I am of the considered opinion that her interim bail can be made absolute. 7. Accordingly, the interim bail dated 07.08.2026 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions that:- (i) she shall cooperate with the remaining investigation; (ii) she shall not hamper or tamper with evidence; (iii) she shall not commit any illegal activities or offence including any activities prohibited by the Assam Game and Betting Act.
