The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Raidih P.S. Case No. 69 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 317(2) and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 12(1) of Jharkhand Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act, 2005 and Sections 11(1)(iv) / 11(i)(f) of Animal Cruelty Act pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gumla. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happens to be the owner of the pick up van and allegation are there of carrying bovine animal on the said pick up van. He further submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 11 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegations are there of illegally carrying bovine animal. 5. Considering that the petitioner is owner of the said pick up van and it has been pointed out that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 11 of the petition, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gumla, in connection with Raidih P.S.
