2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 whereby the petitioner, namely, Adil Parvej is seeking Anticipatory Bail apprehending arrest in connection with an FIR, which is registered as Dispur Police Case No. 95/2025
Page No.# 2/2 registered under Sections 61(2)/318(4)/316(2)/338/336(3)/ 117(2)/351(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023.

The FIR in connection with which the petitioner is apprehending arrest was lodged on 16.02.2026 before the Officer-in-Charge of Dispur Police Station, wherein the informant has, inter alia, stated that when he reached a homestay, upon being asked by one Ajijul of Goalpara, one boy named Rahul, along with four (4) other boys, took him inside a room, took away his mobile phone, and beat him. He further alleged that, by obtaining the password of his mobile phone, they took away an amount of Rs.1,35,000/- (Rupees one lakh thirty-five thousand) only from his account.
4. It is also noticed that the petitioner was enlarged on interim pre-arrest bail by order dated 13.03.2026, subject to, inter alia, the condition that the petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation by the Investigating Officer within a period of seven (7) days.
5. Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam, submits that, pursuant to the said interim order, the petitioner appeared before the Investigating Officer and his statement was recorded. As such, it is seen that the petitioner has been cooperating with the investigation. Accordingly, this Court deems it fit to make the order dated 13.03.2026 absolute, with the further condition that the petitioner shall comply with all the conditions mentioned in the said interim order.
6. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail petition is disposed of.
