This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for the following reliefs:- "10.1) This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioner from the possession of the respondents for its kind perusal. Digitally signed by AJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI DN: cn=AJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI, ou=HIGH COURT, o=HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, st=Chhattisgarh, c=IN Date: 2026.03.11 11:48:49 +0530 2 10.2) That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to directing the Respondents, specifically the respondent no. 2 and respondent no. 4 to finalize the pending case for land allotment/settlement regarding Nazul Sheet No. 63, Plot No. 1 (Area 289 sq. ft.) within a fixed and short time frame. 10.3) That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to Order the Issuance of Lease (Patta), since all statutory requirements, public notices, and departmental NOCS (PWD, Municipal Corporation, Forest, Mining, CPDCL, Health, and Education) have been completed and are in favor of the Petitioner, the Court may direct the Respondents to issue the Permanent Lease Deed in the name of the Petitioner. 10.4) That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct to decide the representations, direct the Respondent No. 2 to decide on the Petitioner's pending representation including the Jan Darshan application dated 21.04.2025 by passing a reasoned and speaking order. 10.5) Any Other Relief: Grant any other relief or pass any other order which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice." 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in possession of land bearing Nazul Sheet No.63, Plot No.1 situated at Laxmibai Chowk, Mauza Durg since 1995. The petitioner is running dry cleaning shop styled as "Super Dryclearners" which is primary source income for his family. He further submits that on 14.08.2023 the petitioner has moved an application (Annexure-P/1) before respondent No.4 -Tahsildar Nazul for settlement of land and issuance of Patta. On the basis of said application, Tahsildar Nazul, Durg has registered the Revenue Case No.202309104200003/A-(20)1/2023 on 22.11.2023 (Annexure-P/2). Thereafter, various proceedings have been conducted, but till date revenue case has not been decided. Therefore, at this 3 stage, this petition may be disposed of directing respondent No.4 to decide the pending revenue case in an expeditious manner. 3. Learned State counsel would not oppose the aforesaid limited prayer of the petitioner. 4. From the pleadings of the petitioner and the record, it appears that Revenue Case No.202309104200003/A-20(1)/2023 has been pending since 2023 and has not yet attained finality. Hence, considering the limited prayer of the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 4 (Tahsildar Nazul, Durg) to decide the aforesaid revenue case arising out of the application (Annexure-P/1) submitted by the petitioner, in an expeditious manner, preferably within a period of 60 days from today, if not already decided. 5.
