Agrawal, Spl.P.P. ---- 02/12.05.2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bariyatu PS Case No.10 of 2026, for offence registered under section 15(c), 18(b), 22, 25, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in court of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Latehar. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case alleging that the petitioner was doing cultivation of poppy plant on the forest land. He next submits that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.12 of the petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegations are there of cultivating poppy plant on the forest land. 5. Considering that the land is of the forest department and is not belonging to the petitioner and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid and, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to --2-- surrender before learned court within two weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Latehar, in connection with Bariyatu PS Case No.10 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
