Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Addl. P.P for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for granting regular bail to the petitioners, namely, Zakir Hussain @ Jakir Hussain and Mukhtar Ali @ Muktar Ali, who were arrested on 03.05.2026 and since then they are in judicial custody, in connection with Special NDPS Case No. 36/2026 under Section 20 (b) (ii) (B)/ 29 of NDPS Act, pending before the learned Special Judge, Barpeta, (arising out of Kalgachia P.S. Case No. 43/2026). 3. The scanned copy of the TCR call for has been received. 4. The learned counsel has submitted that 6 (six) out of the 9 (nine) witnesses have been examined and the quantity which has been allegedly recovered is of intermediate range. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioners would participate in the trial proceedings without fail. 6. Accordingly, he has prayed for consideration of bail for the petitioners. 7. In the circumstances, I am of the considered view that the petitioners can be allowed the privilege of bail; the petitioners shall be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.25,000/- each, with two sureties of the like amount Page No.# 3/3 each, to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court. 8. The learned Trial Court shall be at liberty to impose such other conditions as may be required to ensure the participation of the petitioners in the trial proceedings. 9.
