The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1.That, Hon’ble Court may kindly be 2 pleased to call for the records of the case from the respondent authorities. 10.2. That, Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass an appropriate direction to the respondent authority to consider the claim of the petitioner by issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions by providing him an opportunity in the selection process for the one vacant post out of 4. 10.3 Any other relief, including the cost of this petition, as it appears to be fit and appropriate to this Hon’ble Court. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner pursuant to the advertisement dated 04.08.2023 (Annexure P/1) issued by the respondent/State for the appointment on the post of the Lab Technicians had submitted an application and participated in the selection process, however, he was not called for document verification and counseling. Earlier, petitioner had submitted a representation before respondent No.2 on 19.02.2026, however, no decision has been taken till date and therefore, direction be issued to respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation at the earliest within the specified time. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that he has no objection of the limited prayer as made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance as raised in this writ petition, without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing 3 respondent No. 2 to take decision of the representation dated 19.02.2026 in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 weeks from the date of receipt of the order. 6.
