None appears for the petitioner even in the pass over round. Nobody appeared for the petitioner on 04.08.2025, 24.09.2025 and 29.10.2025. In furtherance of previous order of this Court, Sri Chatterjee, learned counsel for State has informed that he has sent copy of the report to the petitioner but no exception has been filed. 2. The principal grievance of the petitioner is that in the State, regular check-up mechanism is not working to ensure the purity of food items and therefore, appropriate directions may be issued. 3. Sri Chatterjee submits that the said mechanism is working and whenever the deficiency is found, appropriate action in accordance with law is being taken. 4. In this view of the matter, we deem it proper to dispose of this petition by directing the official respondents to continue to check the food items to ensure its purity. In the event any deficiency/ defect/impurity is found, appropriate action in 2 accordance with law be taken against the erring persons. 5. If posts in the respondent/department are lying vacant, we hope that Government will endeavour to fill up the said posts so that adequate manpower is there in the field to take care of the problem. 6. With aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is dismissed. 7.
