ORDER:
The instant Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 [for short, „B.N.S.S‟], is filed on behalf of the petitioner/Accused No.2 seeking anticipatory bail in Cr.No.113/2026 on the file of Ongole Taluk Police Station, Ongole, Prakasam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 74, 79, 331(6), 118(1) r/w 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short “BNS”).
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Burlu Chandra Sekhar,
learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 22.04.2026, the petitioner/Accused No.2 was taken away by the police, and that he has neither been produced before any Court nor have his family members been informed about his arrest or whereabouts.
3. Ms. K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner/Accused No. 2 was arrested by the police today, i.e., on 24.04.2026 at 08:30 AM in connection with the present case, and would further contend that in view of the same, the relief has become infructuous in this matter.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies according to law, if in case, he was taken into custody by the police on
22.04.2026.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
