Thungon, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 4 & 5 in the writ petition. 2. This is an application praying for impleadment of the Deputy Commissioner, West Siang District, Aalo, as a party respondent in WP(C) No. 139(AP)/2025. 3. The applicants, have filed WP(C) No. 139(AP)/2025, seeking reassessment of the land acquired for construction of the Lower Subansiri Hydro Power Project. It is submitted that, at the relevant point of time, the assessment in respect of the subject land was made under the jurisdiction of the Deputy Commissioner, West Siang District, prior to the bifurcation of the district and Page No.# 5/5 creation of the Lower Siang District. 4. Having considered the issue involved in WP(C) No. 139(AP)/2025, this Court is of the view that, for proper and complete adjudication of the matter, the Deputy Commissioner, West Siang District, would be a necessary party in the said writ petition. 5. In view of the above and the prayer for impleadment not being objected to by the learned counsel appearing for the opposite party/respondents, the present interlocutory application is allowed. Accordingly, the Deputy Commissioner, West Siang District, Aalo, is allowed to be impleaded as respondent No. 8 in WP(C) No. 139(AP)/2025. 6. The interlocutory application stands disposed of.
