JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER 24.08.2026 Heard Mr. PK Munir, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Also heard Mr. W Sharma, the learned Standing Counsel who appears on behalf of the respondent No.2, the State Bank of India. 2. The grievance of the petitioner herein is that the respondent authorities had frozen the petitioner’s Bank Account bearing No.35042841162 maintained in the State Bank of India, Hatigaon Branch on account of certain complaint received from the Cyber Crime Police Station, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. 3. This Court duly takes note of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) dated 02.01.2026 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, wherein there is a Grievance Redressal Mechanism set up for redressal of grievances of the present Page No.# 3/3 kind, inasmuch as, Chapter III of the said SOP duly provides a Grievance Redressal Mechanism and in the opinion of this Court, the same is an efficacious and alternative remedy for an early resolution of such disputes. 4. Accordingly, the petitioner herein would be well advised to approach the respondent No.2 along with his complaint and a certified copy of the instant order and the respondent No.2 thereupon shall take effective steps in terms with the procedure laid down in the SOP dated 02.01.2026 so that the grievance of the petitioner is duly considered within the time frame mentioned in the said SOP. 5.
