Reference was made to order dated 04.11.2025 in W.P.No.28522 of 2025 filed by petitioner in respect of admissions to MBBS course for the year 2025-2026. Division Bench of this Court had directed official respondents for admission in sports quota and admission, if granted to petitioner, was stated 2 WP_29950_2026 to be subject to decision taken by Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) regarding renewal of recognition of Hockey Andhra Pradesh and their consideration shall be subject to verification of genuineness of certificates of petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for respondent – SAAP, on written instructions dated 13.10.2026, submits that case of petitioner for admission in sports quota shall be considered, therefore, this writ petition is rendered infructuous and proceedings be thus closed. 4. Ordered accordingly. Written instructions dated 13.10.2026 are taken on record subject to just exceptions. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
