W.P.(C) 9885/2026 3. By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayers: “a. Issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to formulate a comprehensive policy framework, guidelines and Standard Operating Procedure governing the storage of seized, detained and confiscated goods in the premises of units established under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, including the rights, liabilities, obligations and responsibilities of all stakeholders arising therefrom; b. Issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction directing the Respondent to formulate appropriate guidelines governing, inter alia, the duration of storage of seized goods, determination of occupation charges, adjustment This is a digitally signed order. Issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction directing the Respondent to ensure uniform implementation of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 by issuing appropriate administrative instructions and guidelines governing situations involving prolonged occupation of commercial premises of approved Special Economic Zone units by Government agencies.” 4. Issue notice. The learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent/UOI. 5. After hearing learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and in view of the issue involved in the instant petition, this Court finds it appropriate to direct that the present petition filed before this Court be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioner, and the respondent is directed to decide the same, within a period of two months from date, under intimation to the petitioner herein. 6. In above terms, the present petition along with pending applications stands disposed of. 7. In case of any further grievance, the petitioner will be at liberty to approach this Court. 8.
