HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 38592 of 2026 Court No. - 29 HON'BLE SIDDHARTHA VARMA, J.
HON'BLE KUNAL RAVI SINGH, J.
1. When for a particular project, land was to be taken over then the respondent no.1 entered into negotiations with various tenure holders. The petitioners, as is evident from the record, had negotiated the matter and had also agreed to execute a sale deed and, thereafter, executed the sale deed on 27.2.2017. Now, the petitioners have filed this writ petition with a prayer that a particular representation be decided and upon looking into the representation, we find that it is for enhancement of the compensation given under the sale deed.
2. Learned Standing Counsel submits that no writ is maintainable for enhancement of compensation for land taken via sale deed. He has placed reliance upon the decision of this Court in Ramveer Singh vs. State of U.P. & Ors. [Writ-C No.15071 of 2025 decided on 03.7.2025].
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners is unable to refute this legal aspect.
4. Accordingly, we find substance in the submission raised by learned Standing Counsel
5. No interference is, therefore, warranted in the writ petition. It is, accordingly, dismissed. October 1, 2026 GS Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Jitendra Kumar Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) :
