This petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 25.04.2025 passed by this Court in C.M.P. No. 993 of 2023 seeking extension of time for removal of defects in W.P. (C) No. 499 of 2022 as well as extension of time for deposit of the cost of Rs. 5,000/- as directed in paragraph 5 of the aforesaid order dated 25.04.2025 passed in C.M.P. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the direction to deposit the cost of Rs. 5,000/-, as contained in paragraph 5 of the order dated 25.04.2025 passed in C.M.P. No. 993 of 2023, has already been complied with, but belatedly. 3. Learned counsel for the private opposite party has submitted that his client has received Rs. 5,000/- as indicated in the order dated 25.04.2025. 4. To this, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deposit of cost of Rs. 5,000/-, though belatedly, be accepted as compliance of paragraph 5 of the order passed in C.M.P. No. 993/2023 and time of payment of cost be accordingly modified. He submits that time for removal of defects be also modified. 5. Considering the submissions, the order dated 25.04.2025 passed in C.M.P. No. 993/2023 is hereby modified to the extent that the time for payment of cost is extended till today. 6. The learned counsels for the parties have jointly submitted that the cost has already been received by the opposite party. Therefore, it is recorded that the order regarding payment of cost passed in C.M.P. No. 993/2023 stands duly complied. 7. Further, time for removal of defect in W.P. (C) No. 499 of 2022 granted vide order dated 25.04.2025 in C.M.P. No. 993/2023 is further extended till 12.06.2026. 8. If this order regarding removal of defect in the writ petition is compiled within the extended period, office is directed to place this writ petition before appropriate Bench as per roster. 9.
