By filing this interlocutory application, the applicant, who is the petitioner No. 7 in the main writ petition, seeks for a direction from this Court to the respondent authorities concerned to allow him to continue with his work on casual basis with the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) and to pay him his dues. Mr. S Nath, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been working with the GREF Organization for over 25 years without any blemish and it was only because of some issues in his family that he could not attend to his work for some period. However, when he tried to resume his duty, he was not allowed to do so. Mr. PS Lahkar, learned CGC submits that as per the instructions received by him, the applicant himself had abstained from work and it is not the case that they have not allowed him to work. In fact, the name of the applicant has also not been struck off from the roll maintained by the respondent authorities. He submits that if the applicant approaches the respondent authorities to join his work, he will be allowed to work. Considering the same, the interlocutory application stands disposed of by
